This is a poster I made for my concept class. I didn't end up using it because it didn't really work for my concept... but its still a pretty adorable image haha :D

Adopt a Pet Poster

These are some poster designs I've been working on for concept class. The first two were inspired by the bottom two images (respectively). 

I'm trying to go for a vintage look in order to make getting a pet look nostalgic, homey and project a positive message. My original idea for the poster would be a dog dressed like a child wanting more pasta, but for my 3rd poster I tried a cat since the picture I found to collage had a little girl. 

Let me know what you like best/ what is or isn't working!!

Today in concept we had to illustrate some quotes in 10 minutes so these are my little doodle/gut reaction-ideas for them. 

Crazy Critters

Here is final illustration piece. The assignment was to create a fictional critter (mine is a ferret + rat + squirrel + centipede) and put it in a setting. I think I prefer the image with out the music, although it shows his action of singing is nice. This was a great learning assignment in seeing how different a piece can look in digital and print.

Butterfly Whiskey

Check out this design I did for "Butterfly Whiskey" a company created by a random word generator.
This design includes (in order of appearance in the picture) a letterhead, logo, business card, and envelope (& color palette).

Water Color Cards

These are two water color cards I did today. I painted some lovely flowers my boyfriend surprised me with :) (flowers are one of my favorite gifts because I love painting them!)

I was feeling superrr rusty today... but it felt good brushing the cobwebs off some and they didn't come out too bad. I like the one on the left more so then the one on the right. 

The cards will be going to my Grandpa (Nonno) and Aunt (Aunt Mary Ellen) because my Aunt was recently diagnosed with brain cancer and because of this my family will need to move my Grandpa from upstate New York all the way down to the DC area of Maryland. It has been pretty rough on everyone but I have a great family so we are making things work. I love my family and couldn't have asked for a better one <3 .="" nbsp="" p="">
