Concept:

Ripple Effect

Abstract water forms and colors would drip into a blank space to create ripples. As music builds, the ripples expand and interact representing how channel 4seven’s programing is decided by what is making biggest impact on social media. A commotion of cuts, colors, and ripples build until its containment within the logo is revealed.

Concept:

Re-run

Using a wheel as a metaphor for “running-repeats” a cyborg hamster is seen in a toy wheel. While he begins running electronic sounds would start up and then, similar to a projector, lights would shoot from the hamster’s eyes to project the logo on the side of its cage.

Here is one of 4 style frames I am doing for a contest to design new idents for channel 4seven.

Concept:

Rain

England’s rainy weather is used to represent the collective impact the audience of channel 4seven has on its programing. The rain would color the originally colorless city and as puddles grow their logo is revealed within the streets of the people.
